Golden Screen
I contributed interior illustrations to Golden Screen, a book that explores the history and impact of Asian Americans in Hollywood, examining their filmographies, representation on the big screen, and the stereotypes and barriers they have faced throughout the history of American cinema.
It was a pleasure to be part of this project alongside a diverse group of Asian artists, including Toma Nguyen, Barbarian Flower, Jun Cen, Cryssy Cheung, Cliff Chiang, Yu-Ming Huang, Ashraf Omar, and Zi Xu.
I’m grateful to Jeff Yang and Art Director Katie Benezra for giving each artist the freedom to bring their own visual language and individuality to the project.
